  • This is a microgame collection made by ArtCenter students in Game Dev 1. The course is about building up student's ability to prototype and develop games in Unity. Microgames offer a great framework for building small, focused experiences.

  • From week to week students were given different prompts for building their microgames. Some focus on technical aspects ("Include physics"), while others were more creative ("Design a mundane microgame"). One project was a "cover" where they analyzed and rebuilt an existing Warioware game to better understand how it works under the hood.

  • Check out the Gallery page in the web build to see more information about each microgame!

  • Protip: use the controls that are most comfortable! If a game uses arrow keys, you can also use WASD. Likewise if a game uses the space bar, you can use enter, return, or left click. And if a game uses the shift key, you can use either left / right shift, tab, or right click.
